Personal Information Collection Statement (PICS)

Operation Mobilisation (HK) Ltd. (hereafter referred to as “we”, “us” or “our“) respects your personal privacy and is committed to fully implementing and complying with the Data Protection Principles and all relevant provisions of the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.  We endeavour to keep the personal data which you provide to us confidential, accurate and secure.

Purpose of collecting your personal data

We may use your personal data including name, telephone number, email and mailing address for one or more of the following purposes:

  1. To communicate with you in response of your enquiries, comments and suggestions
  2. To process with and manage your donations
  3. To issue donation receipt to you
  4. To process and confirm your application for our events, products and services
  5. To provide various types of information including newsletters, activities, programs, services, invitation, fundraising, recruitment, and collection of opinions

If necessary, you can always request us to stop the use of your personal information.

 

Consequence of not providing data

It is mandatory for you to provide personal data marked with an asterisk (*) in data collection forms.  If you do not provide the required information, then we may not be able to process or administer your intended donations or applications.

Transfer of personal data

Your personal data that we collect will be kept confidential in our database.  We do not sell, trade, give away or rent your personal data to others.  We shall only transfer your personal data to service providers, including but not limited to payment gateways for credit card processing, and marketing platform for distributing electronic communications including e-newsletters.

Access and correction of personal data

You have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data.  If you wish to access or correct your personal data, please contact our Associate Director by email at info.hk@om.org or by post to 12/F, Tai Lee Mansion, 165-167 Pei Ho Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong.
